This procedure is usually performed in the first half of the menstrual cycle. Between day 6 and 14 of the cycle (Day 1 of the bleed = Day 1 of the cycle). • Is it painful? Some patients may experience periods like cramps during the procedure. They are very short-lasting. • Anything else I should know before booking? Please make sure not to have unprotected intercourse between the first day of you your period and the procedure.
